The Entrepreneur

We have started teaching Andrew about earning/saving/buying/giving in an effort to instill financial responsibility early on. This past winter he helped shovel sidewalks and made a total of $5 which he then used to buy himself a toy that he had wanted which I refused to buy him (he had like 50 matchbox cars already, another? really?). Obviously, there's no more snow to be shoveled, so he asked if he could sell lemonade and cookies once the weather was warm enough. He helped to bake the goodies and buy the supplies. he set up his stand, made a sign and waved to walker and drivers passing by. The kid made $12! This time we focused a bit more on the giving component. He decided that he will use some of his money to buy Bosley a new toy.

Mothers Day Weekend

Enjoyed some pool time with my favorite little buddy. It was another happy Mothers Day. I am so lucky to call him mine. A really special kid for sure - full of curiousity, kindness and joy. Thanks to all of you who help me mother him.

12:54 pm

Andrew loves to greet the mailman. As it happens we are usually on the front lawn when he comes, enjoying our lunch picnic.

Tees

Why is it so hard to find cheery, colorful shirts for little boys? Took me a while to find these few. Andrew can't be the only one who finds the usual color selection to be uninspiring.
