Garden Work

The local library has a childrens herb garden! Here is Andrew cutting some fresh herbs for his tomato soup. Rosemary was his fave.

Speaking of fresh tastiness....we have loads of blueberry bushes in the yard. The guys were making Blueberry Crisp on Sunday. Mmmmmm.

Science Center

Water play. He must have spent 1.5 hours here taking his role as lock master very seriously.

In the water exhibit they had toilets to rest on instead of chairs.

Electrified train set even had an active roller coaster. After 4 years his enthusiasm for trains is beginning to wane.

A nice way to spend a rainy day! The museum had floors devoted to robotics, aerospace, and the body.

Zoo and Aquarium

The weather was perfect for a zoo an aquarium trip. Andrews favorite animals were the meerkats - you can see he was able to peek his head into their habitat. He also liked the tram ride and aquarium.

Childrens Museum

10-4:30 with just one break. He had a blast. More pics tomorrow.

Andrew is having fun at the neighborhood private school this summer. Half day camp with lots of play and art.

Grandma Snuggles

A good friend finished up a blanket that mom was unable to complete before her illness. I explained this to Andrew who says snuggling in it is like getting a hug from Grandma Audrey. Together he and I wrap ourselves in it and I tell him stories about her life.
