2018 Highlights

Hi friends and family! Focusing on a virtual life via blogging has taken a backseat to living a full life in real time.  So here are some highlights.

In March we went to Florida, including Legoland where we dined with a pirate.

After many years of hating the water, Andrew took swim lessons and discovered how much fun it is.

He and his Pop Pop share a love for donuts.

Shawn started his "year of rest and relaxation" - a well deserved Sabbatical from RPI.

Kiddo has a great sense of humor.

Andrew remains a Mama's boy, except when he's ticked off that I said no to a ridiculous request.

A local bookstore had a cover jacket art contest and Andrew received an honorable mention!

He and Nana love to snuggle up and read.

My Dad came to visit a couple of times which was a treat for us (and for our bellies too).

Andrew and his toddlerhood BFF Juni are still in touch, and still at each others' throats.

For those of you who haven't seen him in a while, Andrew at 9 years old is an outgoing, friendly, third grader. He love board games, making people laugh, coin collecting, dancing, building electronic and mechanical gadgets, and math challenges.  He's a fun kid, we're really enjoying him.
