Pretty exciting - Andrew has started reading to us before bed! We alternate pages. He is surprisingly fluent for a 4 year old.

Crazy Kids

These two crack me up. Juni and Andrew are made for each other. 

Fall Festival

If I could hazard a guess about Andrew's first memory, it may end up being the fall festival at Liberty Ridge Farm. A yearly tradition that he talks about all year round. This time we brought his little buddy Eitan.

Love Letter

Every morning I wake up to his adorable notes. "Mom I love you. From Andrew." He is such a sweet, affectionate boy. I get variations on this theme daily. Yesterdays was "Mom I love you bc I like you so much." Decent spelling and handwriting for a 4 year old.

Fully Recovered

Behind the blog/facade its been quite a busy 2 weeks. Andrew had a hernia repaired on Sept 10th and had his post-op visit this week. He was very brave and recovered beautifully. Thanks again to everyone who called, visited and brought gifts.

Highlights

His hair is bizarre (and gorgeous, so he gets told daily.) 2/3 of it is copper but down near his neck its brown! Always been this way but with summer highlights its much more obvious.

Farm Camp

Kiddo had a grand time at Farm Camp while Shawn and I headed off to California for some R&R.Thanks, Nana and Pop Pop! And Aunt Erin with Uncle Curtis too :)

We got to see Ms ASJ who happened to be visiting the 'burgh during our stay. We took a ride up the Incline for a beautiful view of downtown.

Kayaker

We took Andrew on his first Kayak trip on the Allegheny River this past weekend. He sat between the 2 of us in a tandem boat and we were out for an hour admiring the Pittsburgh downtown skyline. He "helped" us paddle :)
