NY State Museum

Our more recent favorite discovery: 
the top floor of the NY State Museum has a restored early 20th century carousel!

    Oh, you haven't been there yet? Yeah, it was one of our favorite stops. They also do (or at least did) a Thursday lunchtime music session up there, including instruments for the kids to play with if they want to join in.
